Excel 2007 - display pivot table filter values

    Question

  • I have a pivot table in Excel 2007.  The pivot table uses a multi select filter. When more than one value is selected, it displays "(Multiple Items)".  I need todisplay the actual values that are selected in a different cell.   Is there some sort of function I can use to display those values.

If you get *.zip, don't unzip, just rename *.xlsm

  • Great solution.  I had developed a template in Excel 2010 that used some VBA code that interrogated some slicers to produce a title for a pivot chart.  Come to find out some of our clients are only running Excel 2007 and therefore slicers are not an option.  I was looking for another way to show what data was being shown on the pivot chart but that was compatible with Excel 2007.  Your solution fit the bill and is quite elegant.

    Thanks
