Visio 2003 - Cannot change relationship shape format

    Question

  • Using Visio 2003 (Is there a separate forum for it? I can't find one)

I reverse-engineered an MS Access database into a Visio diagram.  That worked fine, except that all the relationship shapes are displayed with just a line and a black arrowhead.  I want to change the relationships to show one-to-many, 1-to-1 etc, but I can't find where to do so.  Format - Line doesn't work - it doesn't change anything.

I have another diagram (done from scratch) which works as I want it to, so there has to be a setting somewhere I need to change.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks - John

  • Hi All -

I found the answer.  From the menu bar, select   Database - Options - Document

Click the Relationship tab, then select the Crow's Feet option.

That does the trick.  I would never have thought of looking there (Help was useless), but by luck I tried IDEF1X in help which led me to the right dialogue.

     Thanks

    John
