    Question

  • In the past two days, when I open the Send/Receive email, it hanging after received one email, but I have no problem on sending email.  The error I'm getting is “Task '<Server_Name> - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210E): 'Your mailbox is temporarily unavailable because another e-mail message is being delivered to it or another mail application is accessing it. The server responded: -ERR box locked”.  However, I'm able to received all of my email normally on the Webmail.

These are the actions that I have done:

I have disabled other devices that access the same email address on my Outlook 2010.

    Disabled Antivirus.

Deleted all of my emails on the webmail, and empty all folders.

    Unintalled, and reinstalled Outlook 2010.

The system I'm using is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, Microsoft Office 2010, and Norton 360 ver. 6.

  • I do not have one, but for sure you have in AV properties off protection. (someware there you can find where it is)

You can chceck Outlook adds or to run application in safe mode: Start/prompt/Outlook.exe /safe
