How to show width/height of shapes in Powerpoint 2010 in _pixels_

    Question

  • Apologies if this is the wrong forum - I couldn't find a more obvious match.

Is it possible to get Powerpoint 2010 to show the dimensions of a shape in pixels e.g.

If I create a box, and then go to Format > Size (with box selected) - I see the boxes dimensions in centimeters (or whatever my system default unit is). I would like to see the dimensions in pixels.

NB i can enter units in pixels - e.g. setting width to "100px" appears to work - it automatically converts to cms.

  • Hi,

    No, it’s impossible.

You cannot change units to show up in PowerPoint, it does not like word has Centimeters, Millimeters, etc.

    Best regards.
