How do I stop Outlook 2013 on Office 365 from synchronising with my e-mail accounts

    Question

  • I have had a number of issues with Outlook 2013 but the worst is the one where it synchronises with my private e-mail account.

It uploads my e-mails into the account on the web, creating new folders based on the folders within Outlook 2013 and filling up my account. How can I stop it from doing that please?

It is becoming an urgent issue that is causing a great waste of time for me.

  • How many account do you setup in your Outlook profile?

If create a new folder in subfolder of Office 365 mailbox, it would be synced to your mailbox and no way can stop that. However, it wouldn't sync the folder under another mailbox. Please confirm whether you create the new folder in a right place. Besides, I recommand we create a new local PST file and store all of private e-mails there.
