Outlook 2010 auto response

    Question

  • It used to be easy to set up Outlook to send an “Away from Office “ or auto response. In Outlook 2010 I can’t figure it out. Please help.

  • POP3.

Out of office is supported by Exchange server only. Other account types either need to configure it on their email account (log in through a web browser and configure vacation settings) or by configuring rules in Outlook. If your mail provider supports 'vacation settings' this is the best option because outlook needs to be running if you use rules.
