Microsoft Outlook 2007 (Windows XP) shuts down when I try to open an e-mail

    Question

  • Hi, I am having a problem with outlook shutting down. When I open outlook, the view has changed and the reading pane has disappeared, and if you try to open an e-mail it shuts outlook down, with the following error message:

    AppName: outlook.exe      AppVer: 12.0.4518.1014     AppStamp:4542840f
    ModName: mso.dll      ModVer: 12.0.4518.1014      ModStamp:4542867b
    fDebug: 0       Offset: 00007642

It then asks if I would like to send an error message.
It has been working fine for the last year or so???

    Please advise if possible..

    Thanks

  • This is not the correct thread for this issue. I would recommend that you ask this question on the Outlook/Office thread.
