Office Professional Plus 2010 with Service Pack 1 (x86 and x64) - DVD

    Question

  • On Windows 8 Enterprise x64 - how do I either trick the English US edition en_office_professional_plus_2010_with_sp1_x86_x64_dvd_730330.iso or any other localized language product version in to doing a 64-bit installation rather than the typical 32-bit installation it usually does?

In other words what do I need to do in order to fool the Office 2010 ISO in to doing a 64-bit installation rather than it traditional 32-bit version - as it´s very useful to have an Office 2010 x64 package with its service pack inergrated?

Recently I´ve had to only use the x64.exe version & then install the servisse pack 1 afterwards - long-winded!

  • Hi,

Go to the x64 folder on the Office 2010 disc, and double-click Setup.exe to run the 64-bit version of Setup.
