MS Excel maximum row height?

    Question

  • It appears that there is a maximum row height of 409.50 (546 pixels) in a Microsoft Excel 2007 worksheet!
Does anyone know how this dimension can be altered/customised to allow for further text entry, rather than just widening the "column" width to display the additional text?

  • Hi

It is a work round and does solve the initial problem but does create a large amount of white space if both rows of 409 are maxed out. Alternatively, just merging one 409 row with the one above/underneath does give the flexibility required which I think is what you are saying anyway. Thanks for that!

  • Hi

Have you tried merging the cells from two adjacent rows of height 409?
