Access 2010 Runtime

Answers

  • Runtimes are not full featured products.  Runtimes typically get installed by products that need the program in the background to run the application.  So Access Runtime will allow you to run other applications that depend on Access but it won't allow you to run the full Access program and create databases.

  • We are uninstalling Office 2010 Pro in not necesary computers and we have some cases where SCCM 2010 is detecting some computers with MSaccess installed (file MSaccess.exe into office14 folder) and it is only the Runtime version. Are there any other way to see the differences between an Office 2010 Pro and Standard version + Access runtime installed? in order to do an Auditory of all our environment?.

    Best regards.
