Student Support for MS Project - Renewing Trial

    Question

  • I teach classes at an MBA level in Project Management. I'm now teachiing and advanced class in Project Management Scope and Cost. Since it's an advanced class, many of the students have already used the trial version of MS Project for their 501 course. I would like to continue using MS Project for this class, but their trials have run out. Is there a way to extend their trial periods?

Note: About 1/2 the class has either purchased MS project or works for companies which supply it. The other 1/2 the class are unemployeed students and the added expense would be a burden right now.

  • If all else fails, ask if the University is part of MSDN-AA (Academic Alliance) through which (I believe) they offer a student version at $100.  Both colleges I teach at are a part of this.
