    I am setting up FEP 2010 to cover our server environment.  I have installed MSCCM 2007 R3 using a cluster SQL server.  This cluster does not run reporting services, analytics or integration services.   I went to install the FEP add-on and of course it failed. 

    The MSCCM DB is on a 2008 R2 cluster, can I point reporting services and analytics at a different SQL node that is running reporting services, analytics and integration services?  If so does it need to be the same version that MSCCM is running on or just a supported version.

    Hi,

    You can place the SQL reporting Services on a another SQL server but the Analysis and Intergration services must be on the same SQL server as the SCCM DB.

    Why does it not support it? You can always move the SCCM DB.
