Bloqueado Monitor SMTP traffic

    We have TMG Server and we need to monitor SMTP traffic and know which computer send to many SMTP requests, because we notice that ISP block our SMTP traffic because a lot outgoing SPAM from our network

    we r u sing pop3 to connect with our external mail server.

      Hi,

      are you using an internal Mail server or is all SMTP traffic client based to an external mail server? It is not possible to find detailed information about SMTP traffic from single users. You can only monitor the SMTP traffic as an entire unit. You have to use the SMTP logging methods on your Mail Server from your provider or your internal mail server.

        our mail server is external in another country, we need to check smtp traffic from internal network and determine which computer send high requests , do u have any idea?

          Hi,

          not in the way you want to see traffic from your SMTP clients. The builtin reports have not these capabilities. It could be possible to create custom SMTP reports with SQL queries if TMg logs into a SQL 2008 Express edition!
