I understand that the tool is still in release candidate status. Is there any functional documentation for the application? It would be nice to know how the data will be shared from the various processes to better understand the affects any changes would have to system.
Thanks,
Keita

There are different guides for SCSM 2012 available in the Technet Library:

quinta-feira, 2 de fevereiro de 2012 18:20Thanks Marcel, I have this information. What I am looking for is more of a functional or end-user type of documentation that explains how the data types from the various areas (incident, service request, release and change) all work together. We are going to need to customize some of this information and it would be great if we knew in advance the intended use for this data rather than find out later... oops we changed the wrong thing... Do you have any information that could help us with that?

Hi Keita,
I'm not aware of a document you are asking for. SCSM provides a predefined setup of configuration items and work items. It's up to you and your requirements how to tweak and setup your workflows to make them work in your organization.
Btw, the most recent link for the SCSM 2012 documentation is: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh305220.aspx
cheers,
