Owa performance

terça-feira, 6 de março de 2012 06:42Hello, i have an exch2010 farm with 1300 mailboxes. 1100 of these mailboxes will access using Owa. I have to calculate iops and hardware. I was looking at the exchange calculator exel file but I am not sure if it consider the use of owa or just outlook client. without cache mode for the major part of my users will change the exchange calculator results...or not ?

Hi,
With Exchange 2010, Outlook Online Mode and Outlook Cached Mode behave the same from an IO perspective. If we do not have windows desktop search, then it will not impact the IO performance.
