Does anyone have a solution or workaround for the following issue we have. Or plugin we can buy to achieve a resolution.
Problem:
We are in the process of migrating all our voice mail across to Exchange UM from Cisco, how ever we have hit a snag with a couple of teams who have a specific requirement.
Scenario:
Three phones each with it's own ext, lets sat 123, 124, 125
One voice mail box with Ext 123 as it's primary number and 124, 125 as additional UM numbers added to that voice mail.
Now currently when a voice mail is left, the phone with Ext 123 lights up it's MWI, but currently with Cisco the team have all three phones lighting up the MWI when Ext 123 receives a voice mail.
Now we are being told this is critical to the business and has currently halted our migration, does anyone know a way to get this feature in exchange?
Thanks in advance.

You can do a number of things. What is the system UM is integrated with telephony-wise? Is this Exchange 2010 UM or Exchange 2007 UM with some MWI-type product? Assuming Exchange 2010 UM at this point...
Outside of voice systems UM is connected to, here are a few ideas for you (some PBX systems . Additional numbers for a UM mailbox are really only for answer ability and login purposes. So Exchange 2010 UM's MWI will only function for the UM mailbox's primary EUM address.
For each "extension" you would want MWI to work on you will most likely need to setup separate UM mailboxes for each one.
If you needed the caller to hear the same thing no matter which of the 3 numbers they called, you will want to probably setup an AA or a 4th UM mailbox to answer calls for those three numbers. From the AA, the caller can be sent to one of the 3 user mailboxes. Or if the 4th UM mailbox is used, then use Exchange to copy/forward the voicemail to the 3 separate UM mailboxes. In this example you will probably need to change the users' extensions to something else, but that might not work for what you want.

Thanks for that Eric, we are going to have a look at the Auto attendant to see if that could do what we need.
Yeah we are on Exchange 2010 and currently use Cisco Call Manager 6.1
