I need to fix/create a bootable backup for my black acer ao531h I got a virus on it and I ended up putting ubuntu on it and I did not delete the recovery partition, I only used the free space I had in that partition, then I installed ubuntu, hated it and then rembered the acer had that key combonation that has worked for me before. I tryed the keys ALT+F10 at startup of the acer and it diden't work. So I got a external hard drive to get my acer back up and running with a disk. (NOTE: this is not the OFFICIAL disk from the acer website. This is just some copy I found.) It worked fine but my reovery partition STILL will not work. I want a way to fix the recovery partition/make a new one. PLEASE help me I am a NOOB at this recovery stuff and I need to create one that I can remove my old recovery files so I can then put the new ones on it. Then I can choose of press a key combonation at startup, so then I can restoe my acer when I get a virus like this again. (BTW, the official acer website has a recovery disk I could order, If I buy that then will it recreate the recovery? if so let me know because that would be easy! If I can repair it with a download please give me the links! Thanks, my name is Andrew!

Hi,
Regarding the recovery partition, you need to contact the original equipment manufacturer Acer for help.
