Windows XP with Outlook 2010 Indexing issues

sexta-feira, 6 de abril de 2012 15:35I have a computer on my network that is runnng Win XP SP3 and has Office 2010 installed. Indexing finishes and then at a random time starts all over again. I have uninstalled all office products and reinstalled them, I have blown away the user profile and recreated, as well as many other steps with the exception of actually reloading the operating system. I was just curious if anyone had any answers on a possible fix for this issue. Thanks

Indexing - related with Windows Search. Many system has problems with the Windows Search, so uninstall the Windows Search - Reboot - check.

terça-feira, 15 de maio de 2012 16:31 Im not sure if this is the right way to go about fixing issues but I upgraded the machine to windows 7 and all issues have been resolved. Even after uninstalling windows search the fact that I had to use the archaic method of searching for emails and files did not please me so i just upgraded. Issue resolved.
