Answered Possible to turn off "Missed conversation" emails?

I've been asked by an individual if we can - just for him - turn off the emails he receives when he misses a Lync 2010 IM conversation.

Is that possible and, if so, what steps do I need to take, please?

    Thanks.

    Hi Philip,

You can do it on the client, in Tools > Options > Personal > and the two options save instant message conversations, save call logs in my email.

    Cheers,

Thanks. I take it that there isn't any way of having completed conversations saved but missed ones not saved?

I think you can create a rule at your Outlook side. When such e-mail with “Missed…” specific words coming, permanently delete it. It is transparent for individual user.

At least for me, Outlook rules can't seem to catch 'Missed' messages when they are created. The rules can affect them if I run them manually for existing messages, but somehow the 'Apply this rule after the message arrives' part is not working, probably because these message don't arrive the same way as emails.
