Unanswered Reproducable WMP12 Sorting Bug dealing with Auto-Generated Playlists

Have experienced this bug on two Windows 7 32bit machines - fully patched

Once a song has been played in an auto-playlist, it is impossible to sort the list and play another song.

-Start by clicking an auto-playlist on the left and start playing some tracks (or better yet, simply double click the playlist on the left to immediately begin playing music).
(At this point, it doesn't matter if the music continues to play of if you stop it.)
-Click a column header to sort the list. Ex. Title, Contributing Artist, etc.
-Double click a song to play.

Expected behavior:  The song that is double clicked should play
Actual behavior: The song that was previously in that position before the sort (ex. the 3rd song in the list) plays.

    Example:

If I play an autoplaylist with the following songs:

    [ABC Band] 123 Song
    [ABC Band] 000 Song
[DEF Band] 456 Song <3rd song from top
    [JKL Band] 000 Song
    [GHI Band] 789 Song

Then if I sort the list by title I get:
    [ABC Band] 000 Song
    [JKL Band] 000 Song
[ABC Band] 123 Song < Double click this song, and [DEF Band] 456 Song plays
    [DEF Band] 456 Song
    [GHI Band] 789 Song

Where can I submit this bug and make it be known to Microsoft?

Please report back the *full* WMP version number on your system, as I'm unable to reproduce this on my Windows 7 system. When I start playing an auto playlist in WMP, I see the following text in WMP's (center) library pane:

You are currently playing this list. You can edit the list in the Play tab.

and it's not possible anymore to click a column header to sort the playlist.
