    I have a Intel Dual Core PC @ 3.07GHz...with 2GB of Memory and Nvidia GeForce 510...with Windows 7 Ultimate(32-bit)
    whenever I start Firefox 12.0 or any software like Photoshop 7...or even my old Transformers game...they stop responding...for 2-10 seconds...

    Even Windows stop responding for sometime...

    What do I do...??
    Why is it happening...???

    Does the issue occur when you open system build-in applications?

    This issue can be caused by several reasons. I suggest you boot in Clean Boot Mode to detect if the issue is caused by any background programs.
