Windows 7 in Workgroup while XP Mode in Domain?

Can the default OS (Windows 7 Professional) remain as a Workgroup OS while the XP Mode be logged on as a Domain account OS?
What are the pro & con? I am worry about double license for same machine. We have software that only works in XP and not in Windows 7.

quinta-feira, 26 de abril de 2012 19:42 Yes, XP Mode can be joined to a domain with the host not joined.I really don't know of any specific pluses or minuses in that scenario-- it's just like 2 separate PC's on the LAN to anything else.
