  Have you appproved the MSE Definition Updates on your WSUS server. Are you actually synchronizing MSE Definition Updates, or just the MSE Product Updates?
  
  Also, try manually download the latest definition updates for Microsoft Security Essentials:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971606
