    hi all,

    i have a company branches spans multiple sites and every branch has difrent exchange setup as follow:

    - some have hosted exchange.

    - some have email hosted with ISP and using pop and IMAP.

    - some have Exchange 2003 and 2007.

    i want to upgrdae all to exchange 2010 and centralized all in one place + have some of them on the cloud using O365

    how can i apply the solution

    Install Exchange 2010 SP2 in the Centralized Place and Configure everything and make it a good one.

    with a Good availability (DAG) . Cause your going to depend on it more.

    Upgrade your 2003 to 2010 first

    Easy Part.

    Reroute your Email Flow from that Environment.

    Then 2007

    ...

    Then 2010 Hosted. You can follow the Whitepaper . Kinda lengthy process

    Hi Terek,

    First if your existing environment has hosted configuration then you have to first get rid of that. Install Exchange Server 2010 SP2.

    Please read the below article before you plan for installation.

    In order for you to have some mailbox in cloud then you have the best option in Exchange Server 2010 SP2 with Hybrid Setup. You can go for Hybrid setup once you have completed your mailbox migration.

    You can Bring Exchange 2010 Sp2 in your Environement and migrate it , As per the white paper.

    Only Inplace upgrade is not possible
