-
14 februarie 2012 23:03ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Environment : E2k10 Unified Messaging, Lync 2010
Issue is that the voice mail box is not available for a
user.We created a normalization rule in Lync
Configured users to receive voice mails in UM Auto Attendant
Now, the Auto Attendant on Exchange UM is able to recognize
the extension of the user. After these steps, we were able to directly leave a voice mail
after calling the user.(Auto attendant option of not allowing to ring the user was selected). However, after ringing the user and he missing the call,
Any Ideas?
UM says that voice mailbox does not exist for the user.Abhay Kamath (MSFT)- Global Partner Services

Hard to understand your scenario. Are calls flowing through Lync to the associated UM AA for the UM Dial plan associated with Lync? Then is the caller trying to use speech or using directory lookup or simply entering in a number? From what I can tell from the information you gave the UM AA is attempting to transfer out to a destination. Can I assume this is a Lync EV user? If so, is the Lync user UM enabled with both the SIP and "extension" EUM addresses? Try to increase the logging level for UM and see the integration data for the failed call where you are expecting it to integrate to a mailbox and see what integration is passed to UM.
