    Hi Linsen4624

Do you ever install Entity Framework Tools CTP? You may check the GAC to verify that this assembly is registered. If not, try to register the dll.

    Thanks,

i added sucessfully "Microsoft.Data.Tools.XmlDesignerBase.dll" assembly to GAC by gacutil.exe, but problem still exists.

    Not this reason?

Are you working on BDC Model for SharePoint 2010? If yes then this is wrong forum for this question.

Please describe how did you create your BDC Model? Did you use standard BDC Model project in Visual Studio 2010?

Do you have SharePoint 2010 installed on the machine where you are working with Visual Studio? What .net framework are you using? Are you able to create any other SharePoint project (for example Visual Web Part, Event Receiver, Empty SharePoint project)?

Perhaps you didn't install SharePoint tools for your Visual Studio 2010.

But you don't have this Microsoft.Data.Tools.XmlDesignerBase.dll assembly in Visual Studio 2010.

no , i have this file, just path difference, because my both sharepoint and visual studio have installed at drive D:

Perhaps this is a reason why this assembly can't be found by Visual Studio.
