Win7 SP1 RTM Fails ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND

  Hi, Running Windows 7 enterprise - 64bit. Had all the patches on but got errors. Removed a number of patches got rid of those errors. But now I'm stuck on the error below. The specified package wasnt installed, so I installed it with DISM but still get the error (and cant un-install it now either get access-denied errors). Since all patches (except KB976902) have been removed since the date of the x86_micrsofot.... manifest below (which on my system was dated 20-nov-10) not sure why it is still there.

  Have run sfc /scannow and the other update readiness tool. Any help on getting past this error appreciated.
