Streets and Trips 2011

We are a volume licensing site that has just purchased several licenses of Streets and trips 2011 to upgrade from 2009 version. But one of the test users has experienced the following issue during installation.

downloaded the new version and kept the box checked to keep previous
versions....now that I have downloaded the new version and try to open my
files...it says this file was created by an older version, before you can open,
your records must be matched to the updated map...click ok to update...so I
click ok and it says failed to open document.....so I go back to my previous
version...it will let me open the file but it will not let me make a change to
it...it says....this application is unable to continue running. The
problem may be the result of low system resources such as memory or disk space.<o:p></o:p>After I recieved this email I looked on the Streets and Trips 2011 support site to find that yes this is a known issue, but there was no fixes or suggestions to solve the problem. My question is, is there any workaround for this problem considering she didnt uninstall the previous verstion it seems there would be a way to retrieve these maps to use.

to avoid...I have spent hours on this file and I do not want to have to start
all over....PLEASE HELP

Street and Trips is not a Windows 7 feature. It is a separate program and has it's own support structure.
Start @ http://support.microsoft.com/ph/1058 to find support for Streets and Trips.
