Acer 4520 Sound card problem win 7 home basic32 bit

hi gurus,
I have acer 4520, with realtek sound card. my sound card is not dected. tried re-installing sound card from acer
tried reinstalling window 7. sound came and it went off as soon as i installed chipset 13.13.
i have every thng in my hand but no luck yet.
any suggestion....

If you already reinstalled the Audio Driver after installing Chipset Driver v13.13, then install the Chipset Driver (MCP67) v13.11 driver instead. Then, if you still have no sound, reinstall the Audio Driver.

Sometimes the newest driver isn't always the best.

Your notebook doesn't really support Windows 7, the drivers for Windows 7 are the same as for Vista so they may not actually work or might act poorly in the Windows 7 environment. Two different sites for Acer drivers and both have the same drivers, and both are dates as only 2009.

Uninstall any drivers you have currently for the audio then just use the downloaded drivers that you have already from the Acer Download site, if they are the same as listed in the links.
The Chiupset 13.13 is for the nvidia driver so wasn't necessary to "update" it. Try install the audio again.
Basically, your OS is not right for this Notebook.

Try install the audio again.Actually, that driver (or the 13.11 version) is necessary since the laptop has an Nvidia chipset, not just Nvidia video (which has v7.15.11.6762 listed on the driver site). Included in the 13.13 and 13.11 drivers is the chipset and LAN drivers.
