    I thought I would try this on my Win 8 tablet, makes it easy to travel it around and show the benefits first.  All the parts installed ok, even FEP, and this seems to persist after a reboot and with defender service disabled.  Is windows 8 not supported yet?

    Hi Mottm,

    Windows Intune will not support Windows 8 until sometime after it's generally available.

    Thanks for the follow up, maybe I could Hyper V an XP box thru it and run the Intune there!  Thanks for the idea.

    I have Windows 8 Consumer Preview running as a VM on a Windows 2008 R2 machine.  I have Intune running on it.

    When I initially installed it, the update that installs Easy Assist and the Endpoint protection would fail to install.  I installed Easy Assist v2 manually.  Intune Center on the Win8 VM shows that updates were installed at 3:00 AM this morning, and now the Intune Endpoint Protection is installed.

    The only quirk is that the system is identified as: Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
