We reserve IP for some computers in the DHCP server in our environment, but now the issue is that, some of this PC's are retired or are no longer in use. So is there away in that when this reserved IP's are no longer used for especific period of time, they should as well be deleted. Windows 2008 R2

There is no such in-built functionality in DHCP to delete the unused IP by itself. You need to either edit the scope of the dhcp for the reserved IP address pool or lower the reserve IP range in the DHCP server.

This sounds like an easy thing to script, but thinking it through... how do you decide when an ip address is no longer in use? There are settings that make this very difficult and a lot of thought and work need to go into it.
There are some helpful tips for you in this blog as well as scripts to manage DHCP.

As per my understanding No, there is no such in-built method.

Hello,
no, this is not possible the DHCP request is based on client machines and the DHCP server only reacts on the broadcast from the client. But the DHCP server is not able to realize if clients are not broadcasting anymore.
