Iphone and exchange calendar: Users can only see appointments they are invited to.

Many of our users have iphones and once in a while we see this issue:
On the phone, the users can only see the appointments which they have been invited to. If they create an appointment in Outlook themselves, this information is not synced to the phone. If someone invites them to a meeting via Outlook, then this will appear on the phone at next sync.
I think this is so weird, and can't find any solution.
Anyone else experienced this?
Exchange server 2010 and various iphone models.

I believe most of them use default settings which is sync by push method. It seems weird though that the common denominator in these cases seem to be that calendar objects you create on your own are not synced, but if you accept an invite from another user, then this is synced.

Also make sure that the iphone os is at it's latest.

Most of our users have iphones, so it's difficult to rule them out. Although, we haven't received any incident reports concerning other phones and this issue.. But this might be because they are so few.
We should look into a common denominator for the users who experience the problem. We have checked what we can from our location.
As many of them work in other countries, we can't look at their phones, so we would need to explain to them what to look for. iOS version etc

8 мая 2012 г. 12:04I am experiencing the same, but have only had one user report the issue. Planning on meeting him tomorrow and go through the settings on his phone. If I discover something that works on a 4s, will post what I find.
