when i try to sign into hotmail from the live sign in page, first it says my password is not correct so I enter it again and the password is ok but the page just jumps back and forth a few times then it says the microsftnetwork is not available from this site for one of the following reasons. the site might be experiance problems. the site might not be a member of the windows live network, or you can sign in at another network or try again later. well it's been doing this for a long time and no one has come up with an answer that I can find. I have to use fire fox to access hotmail. anybody know of this? I have screen shots but no way to post on here. this error happens every time I try it for about six months or longer.

hotmail account issues should be asked on a forum with the ability to access your account,

Have you reset the Internet Explorer? I suggest you reset it and check it again.

If the issue persists, you could restore the Internet Explorer by turn off and turn on the IE feature in the control panel ->Programs and Features.

Note: Before you restore Internet Explorer, please perform a system backup first and backup your favorites.

Thanks for the answers but like said this has been going on for a while, I have tried every thing I have even contacted Microsoft Support and they did a couple of things and it worked once or twice and went right back to doing what ever it's doing. I guess I need to contact them again so they can connect to my pc and see what it is actualy doing, I have never seen anything like this before. I'm not a computer wiz but I do know alittle.

Do you mean that the issue occurs again when you have reinstalled the Internet Explorer?

To press the button when you are replying, then you may post your screenshot.

    Hi,

Please check the Credential Manager(Control Panel->User Accounts->Manage your Credentials), to reedit or remove the live account.

To add the site into trusted websites and check it agian.

What security suite do you have installed,

Trusted sites is a very unpredictable/ flawed feature you should not have to use the feature to access a email account, adding a site and then having to remove the sites is a clear sign.

With malware and viruses being sent through emails dropping any security would not be a wise thing to do.

There is a third party some where effecting the emails login/ cookies need to be installed,

I'd look for a Cookies management feature in what ever security suite you have installed.

To type the http://www.hotmail.com and go to it directly, please sign out your current account and then sign in.

May I know that is there some network security settings?  Do you have a test with another computer on the same network?

I suggest you temporarily disable the firewall and antivirus and check it again. Does the issue only occur when signing in to hotmail through Firefox?
