SP2 istalling error: error insufficient buffer (0*8007007a)
- I have got vista ultimate sp1, czech, and after downloading the new sp2 beta I wanteted to install it. However, the installation failed, actually didnt even start. It says error insufficient buffer (0*8007007a) and that the area for data is too small (despite having 35GB of free space on the system disk). Anyone has encoutered this issue?

Can you please share out the %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log and send that to sachin.trivedi@live.vom ?
We need to take a look as to what could have caused this?

Sachin I am getting the same error with Vista SP1 32-bit english, about 2.82GB of free space on the system drive.
- I have the same problem. I see many threads like this on the microsoft technet forum, they all end with
"Oh dear, will you please log a bug report at blah blah blah"
It would be much more useful if rather than stop the thread dead at that point, that you post the resolution to
the problem.
