Answered Lync Archiving DB -N/A & No Reporting

    I currently have a Lync server and a SQL Server that holds the Archiving and monitoring database. I believe that it is archiving, but I don't know how to be sure. The databases are attached in the management studio.

    On top of that I installed the reporting servers on the SQL server, but get this error when trying to install the monitoring services on there I get this error message


    "Cannot get the ReportServerWebService URL. Verify that Reporting Services is deployed and configured properly on the target SQL instance:"SQL", and that WMI is included on the exception list of firewall setting on the server that is running Reporting Services."

    Have you configured the reportingserver and create the DB for the reporting server?

    Hi,Rowe-tfx,

    I cannot see your screenshot,anyway please verify what holger said.

    Also please make sure you have configured the correct SQL instance for your Monitoring and Archiving server in the Topology builder,I noticed in your error message it called "SQL" right?And please verify that you have created archiving file share for archiving data store.
