답변됨 Notification from Feedback process in SharePoint Designer workflow

I have created a workflow using SharePoint Designer 2010. I have added a Feedback process which assigns tasks to users. Inside the feedback process there is a default step, When a Task Expires. I would like to know which SharePoint component triggers this step to run? Is there any timer job?

I am facing issues with this step. So would be glad if any clue will help me to solve the issue.

    Thanks.

I am using a SharePoint designer workflow in which I have added an action to get feedback process.

In feedback process, Task expires action is getting triggered even after the tasks are completed. Also the problem is that, in step "When a task expires", I have send email and log action. However, send email action is executed but log to history didn't execute. What could be the problem here? I am not able to figure out how this is processing.

    Thanks.

    Hi ,

Have you checked the workflow status ,do you see the Send email action in the workflow history ?If not ,the email send to users are not triggered by the workflow .You need to check whether there are other workflows sending the email .You should also check whether there are other alerts on the task list which send the email .

    Thanks

    Hi Entan,

Yes I dont see the send email action in the workflow history. But there are no other workflows which ran when the email notification is received by the user. And there are no other alerts/workflow set on document library/task list.

I see a common point there, it is that users have received the email 7days after the due date of the tasks.

One more point: When I had published the workflow, on the library, I saw two workflows running. One with Original Workflow name and one with Original Workflow-1 (i.e. appended by "-1"). Now whenever I publish the workflow, the workflow name is changing, appending the -2,-3 etc. to the original workflow name. Is there something I have done wrong?

One more update, the email is sent at around 12AM. Is there any timer job which triggers "When a task expires" workflow action?
