    Hi,

    I have a workflow that takes field content from one list and puts it into another.  The first field content on list 2 is just fine.  But the 2nd and 3rd ones are not.  They have the correct information, but are surrounded by html.  I am using the "Create item in" workflow command.

    Example: <div>Addy Cust 5</div>

    "Addy Cust 5" is correct, but not the <div> statements.

    I checked the string types for each field on both lists, and they are identical -

    Field 1 - string, single line

    Field 2&3 are string, multiline.

    Somehow the multiline causing it?

    I just tried this an it seems o.k - was a quick test

    created list

    added three columns

    basic - multi lines basic

    rte - multi lines rich text

    rtee - multi lines rich text extended

    Saved as template

    Created new lsit from template 'destination list'

    created Simple manual workflow on source list - create listitem - only action

    Mapped the fields

    Ran the workflow and I get identical values in source and destination lists and in the rich etxt fiels these included formatting such as bold, font size change etc

     

    Are the settings for each column identical - i.e basic text or rich text or rich text extended
