I have Visio 2010 and have a floor plan drawn out.  When I save to jpg or print, I do not get the grid lines that I see when I'm planning.  How do I get them to show up?  Thanks!

Well to make the grid show up when printing you need to make sure the 'Gridlines' checkbox is ticked under the Page Setup / Print Setup tab (right click on the page tab).  However, when exporting to bitmaps this doesn't appear to have any effect.  I guess because you're really exporting a selection of shapes, rather than the page itself.  I think you'd have to draw a grid shape yourself (which could sit on a background page) although that's not a perfect solution I know.  Bear in mind there's also a lot of 'measuring' shapes in the dimensioning stencils that open with the Floor Plan template.

    Hope that helps.

    Best regards

Thanks John, will have to try the printing method.  I was just hoping to be able to do this electronically.

Check out John Marshall' site (visio.mvps.org), he has some vba code to put a grid on the page.
