I installed Windows7 as virtual machine under server 2003, but I did not have a media recognized. It seems that I don't have a audio/ My audio is realtek.
Best regards

Are you using virtual server or vpc2007 to run your virtual machine ? Virtual server doesn't have audio. On vpc2007 after installing vmadditions you should see virtual audio device.

Porat,
Windows 7 would probably have the same problem as Vista with sound. The sound system in VPC emulated an old Soundblaster ISA sound card. Vista or later OS does not support ISA. With Vista, a new sound device was added. It will only be available if you select Vista as the operating system when you create the VM.
What type of audio device you have in the host is not relevant. The vm does not see it. It uses its own emulated device. The same thing applies to the video and network cards. The vm only sees the emulated S3 Trio and DEC/Intel 21140A cards.
