Unable to connect to remote computer using Performance Monitor
- I am trying to connect to my host machine which is running server core 2008 using the Performance Monitor mmc snapin. However i keep getting a "The RPC server is unavailable" error. I checked the service through the computer management mmc snapin (which i was able to connect to remotely).
Appreciate any help.

Hi,
Did you have the client computer and the Server Core computer in the same domain? If your two computers are in a workgroup, you may encountered some permission issue.
