Treeview navigation to reports

    Question

  • Hi,

    I am very new to sharepoint. I have a content editor web part for displaying links to ssrs reports. Know the user wants the reports to be categoriesed so i thought a treeview would be the best. How can i achive this? My source today is:

    <html>

    <Table>
    <TR>
    <TD>
    <IMG  src="/_layouts/images/ssrs.gif" </IMG>
    </TD>
    <TD>
    <a href="javascript:void(window.open('https://bla.bla.net/Reports/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=%.....</a>
    </TD>
    </TR>
    <TR>
    <TD>
    <IMG  src="/_layouts/images/ssrs.gif" </IMG>
    </TD>
    <TD>
    <a href="javascript:void(window.open(next report)</a>
    </TD>
    </TR>
    </TD>
    </TR>

    </Table>
    </html>

  • In sharepoint, its not possible OOB.

    You need to implement that in .net page and deploy that page into sharepoint for have a tree view.

  • You can use any  JQUery plugin to acheive that.. since you already have the HTML source you just need to apply the JQuery plugin to render it as a treeview and you can put the script in your content editor webpart itself.... here is a good basic plugin for treeview....

  • you can use report explorer and report viewer webpart in sharepoint 2010 for SSRS report display.

    below is the link containing details of this integration.

  • Nop, its not give you the treeview but it will give you a list of reports.

    You can tweak only to open the report into custom page instead of report viewer web part using below link http://forums.asp.net/t/1622734.aspx.
