SharePoint 2010 on Win7 64x

    Question

  • Hi All,

    I have successfully installed sharepoint server on win7 but when i am trying to configure it give error. and i am unable to find solutions how to start.

  • You will need to install the Geneva Framework from http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/3/D/F3D66A7E-C974-4A60-B7A5-382A61EB7BC6/MicrosoftGenevaFramework.amd64.msi

    If you have kb 974405 and Microsoft "Geneva" Framework installed, please uninstall the KB 974405 and reinstall it, run the prerequisites installer. Details could be found at More Information section of this knowledge base article:

    I downloaded Windows6.1-KB974405-x64 installed.. sharepoint still does not recognize the geneca frame work
