How to create a Wizard form?

    Question

  • Hi,

How can we create wizard like forms in Sharepoint 2010 without relying on custom code?

PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons in each form (a part from the last one, which would have a CONCLUDE button instead of NEXT).

We also need to have so "if statement" in each NEXT button so that we can check which form will be the next one (depending on the value in the current fields).

We also need a way of showing that information back in the form in order to update it.

    Please, could anyone help? ;)

    Regards

  • Hi ,

You can customize a form in InfoPath 2010 and then publish the form to SharePoint 2010 .

You can use Views in InfoPath to store different data on different views .In order to create a new view ,you can choose Page Design>New View .As for the button on the view ,you can use rules to achieve the ‘if statement ’ .Choose the Button and click on Manage Rules >Add a rule ‘Switch View ’ for the button .You can add the condition to compare the current fields value .Then set the action to switch to a specific view .

    Thanks
