I am using Sharepoint 2007 and would like to have users photos display upon doing a people search. Is there a way to set this up where the employee photo will pull from Active Directory? Right now I have setup a picture library and am linking each photo manually. Is there an MS Exchange plugin that will accomplish this?
Can you put the picture in Active Directory profile? I don't know about that, but in case you can, you might create a profile property in SSP (or use an existing one) and map that property to the property in active directory.
You can then manipulate the XSL of the web part to display the picture from this property.
You could also give this method a try. It's pretty straight forward without a lot of customization:

Hi, this it the answer to your question. You cant test in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 2010.
Import-RecipientDataProperty -Identity "Your_Name" -Picture -FileData ([Byte]$(Get-Content -Path "C:\myPic.jpg" -Encoding Byte -ReadCount 0))

I used SUSHI (http://sushi.codeplex.com/) to perform the same function that you mentioned. All my pictures were in a SharePoint Image library and anytime a new user joined, I just added his/her picture to the document library and used Sushi to upload the image to the user profile.
You can try a web part that allows users to change their Active Directory and/or SharePoint profile photos on their own. Along with other AD attributes like addresses, phone numbers, etc. Take a look: http://www.harepoint.com/Products/HarePointSelfService/Default.aspx
