  • Two Sequence Containers - One Fails - Can other still Continue to Run until end - and run the package again and it only runs the one that failed.

    You can control the flow of execution of tasks in a package by selecting appropriate precedence constraints,

    In your case if you connect two containers with the precedence constraint setting as "On Completion",second container will start executing on completion of execution of first task(irrespective of succesful/unsuccesful task execution result

    you have to design your package smartly for instance. if you have two sequence container and you know that one must be success then you have to prioritize it and then run the container which may be fail. as shwing in the following snapshot:

    and you can start your package from the point of failure through the checkpoint implementation.
