  • Hi Yasser,

We need to verify the SSMS is installed successfully via checking the Setup Log Files. The log folders were located at %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Summary.txt, and %programfiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\Log\<YYYYMMDD_HHMM>\Detail.txt.  If not, we suggest repairing or reinstalling SQL Server Management Studio.

In addition, we recommend installing the latest service pack after installing SQL Server 2005. There is detail about how to obtain the latest service pack for SQL Server 2005. If there is any error, you can search the error message in our forum, or post the error message here and I will help to troubleshoot the issue.

    Thanks
