    Question

  • I configured Transactional replication. Is it possible to take subscriber db backup?

    if i will perform backup on subscriber db what will happen?

    If not possible to take backup then how can i take backup of subscriber db?

    Yes, you can take the subscriber database backup as you do it normally for any other database.

  • Did you try to backup the Subscriber DB? Did you encounter any errors? Or are you just trying to be cautious?

  • It is very normal , replication may get affected based on database size and updates on Principal database.

    backup

     

    database test1 to disk = 'c:\prakash\test1.bak' with init, stats =10
