Setting Input Locale in Unattend.xml + VISTA

    Question

  • Hi,

    Hi all,

I am setting the regional settings to en-SG (English-Singapore) in unattend.xml. After imaging it comes correctly and sets en-SG as default but have both en-SG and us english as input locales. I need only en-SG as the input locale.

Or is this default behavior ie, always English - US will add up in the input locales when we add additional langauges through unattend.xml

    Please help

    Regards
    mahesh

  • En-US will have to be specifically removed when using english media.

  • Did you try to captrue WIM file in a Singapore version?

Or, you can try to modify the following information:

    <UILanguage>en-SG</UILanguage>
    <SystemLocale>en-SG</SystemLocale>
    <UILanguage>en-SG</UILanguage>
    <UserLocale>en-SG</UserLocale>

    Hope it helps.

  • You can remove it after installation via a script as a workaround.
