Site to Site connection latency not saved

    Question

  •

    Hi All,

can this be confirmed as a bug?

I have run up a model for MOSS2007.

On the Model Editor, Global Topology page.

After I add a new site then add a site to site connection back to the central site (where the sharepoint farm resides).

I set the connection as Fractional T3 with 70% bandwidth available, then set the latency as 50ms.

I save the model, close SCCP.

Reopen the app then load the model.

The connection latencies on all the site to site links have reverted to 10ms.

    (This is very frustrating!).

    Cheers,

    Gavin

  • Hi Gavin - We've confirmed this as a bug in SCCP 2007. There are no workarounds known at this time, but I'll update this thread if anything changes. Sorry!
