    Question

  • Hi

When we are trying to add the new server to the SCOM. It is coming grayed out under Computers. When we checked the event logs on the client we are getting the below errors. But the server is in the same domain.

    Event Type:    Error

    Time:        9:38:06 AM

    Computer:    IND-mail004b
    Description:

    Event Type:    Error
    Event Source:    OpsMgr Connector
    Event Category:    None
    Event ID:    20070
    Date:        7/29/2011
    Time:        9:37:55 AM
    User:        N/A
    Computer:    IND-mail004b
    Description:
The OpsMgr Connector connected to IND-app142.prod.com, but the connection was closed immediately after authentication occurred.  The most likely cause of this error is that the agent is not authorized to communicate with the server, or the server has not received configuration.  Check the event log on the server for the presence of 20000 events, indicating that agents which are not approved are attempting to connect.
